Having served as a youth minister for over a decade, Cory brings a lifetime love for the Lord to his ministry with Madison Christian Church. Cory holds a Master of Divinity degree from Emmanuel Christian Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Johnson University. He spends all his spare time with his wife Tasha and two children Becca and Micah. They love to travel, mostly to Walt Disney World.

For fun, Cory is an avid golfer and runner who has completed 2 Disney Marathons and 4 Half Marathons, earning the Goofy Medal and the coveted Coast-to-Coast Medal in the process.  More recently, he has participated in a pair of Ironman 70.3 Triathlons.  Having grown up in Indiana means Cory follows the Purdue Boilermakers and, during the 2016 season, he fell back in love with Chicago Cubs.

Cory’s favorite Bible passage is Joshua 1:7-9:

“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.

Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
